The Queen's funeral on Monday (September 19) is also a bank holiday, meaning some businesses - including shops, pubs and restaurants - might be closed.

Billions of people across the globe are expected to watch the live broadcast of Queen Elizabeth's funeral, which takes place at Westminster Abbey in London.

Some 2,000 people, including world leaders and foreign royals, will be in attendance. The service is expected to be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby and begins at 11am.

Mancunians can watch proceedings live on big screens in Manchester city centre, while commemorative events and services are also being held across the region.
