Alison Hammond scolds Dermot O'Leary over 'aggressive' start to ITV This Morning

Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary made a smiley appearance as they returned to host This Morning on Friday (July 22). The pair have been at the helm of the ITV daytime show for two weeks as part of the summer shows.

They have been the first duo to replace Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield as they enjoyed their lengthy annual summer break.

But that's all set to change as usual Friday hosts Alison and Dermot confirmed it is their last day. Alison, 47, had the realisation during Thursday's show (July 21)when she said: "This is our penultimate day, and then we're on holiday aren't we?" Dermot, 49, nodded in agreement before Alison put on a sarcastic voice and said: "Oh, what a shame," before bursting out into laughter.
