Alfredo Morelos 'rejects' Cruz Azul transfer lifeline as former Rangers striker gets picky over next destination

Alfredo Morelos will reportedly reject any offer from Cruz Azul despite the Mexican outfit considering offering him a carer lifeline.

The bottom-placed Liga MX side have been linked with the 27-year-old as a back-up option as they chase their priority strike target and Morelos’ countryman Rafael Santos Borre of Eintracht Frankfurt.

However, reports say that Morelos has no intention of moving to Central America and is instead still focused on finding a move to Turkey, Saudi Arabia or Russia.

The Colombian hitman is still without a club despite being available on a pre-contract since January and as a free agent since leaving Rangers at the end of last season.
