Ajax have posted an eight-word message on social media following Antony‘s move to Manchester United, with the Brazilian winger arriving at Old Trafford for a fee rising to €100million (£85.1m).

The 22-year-old attacker, who signed a five-year deal at Old Trafford, with the option of an additional year, will be reunited with his former Ajax boss Erik ten Hag.

United have paid Ajax €95m up front, with €5m due in add-ons. The fee includes a solidarity payment to Sao Paulo, Antony's first professional club.

Antony was brought to the Amsterdam club by Ten Hag two years ago from Brazilian side Sau Paulo — with the winger going on to win two Eredivisie titles and the Dutch Cup under the Dutchman.
