WWE shared a social media post about Tony Khan back in 2015, which is seriously surreal to think about now.
Before launching AEW, Tony Khan was known to be a huge wrestling fan, going to a variety of shows from a variety of promotions, including WWE.
In fact, in 2015, Khan was welcomed to Live Event, which is seriously crazy to think about considering he founded WWE’s biggest competitors since WCW.
In 2015, Tony Khan was brought to the February 7 Live Event in Jacksonville, a show that was headlined by a match between Big Show and Roman Reigns.
Khan was brought to the show not just because he's a big wrestling fan, but also because he's the son of Shahid Khan, who owns the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team.
Obviously, the post, which you can see below, is pretty crazy to think about now when you consider that Khan and WWE have been at war with one another since AEW was launched in 2019.

Fans have seriously enjoyed looking back on this post and image considering the huge impact that Tony has had on wrestling and WWE since it was taken.
The relationship between Khan and WWE isn't as smooth as it once was, but that was always going to happen when AEW launched and had the initial success that it did.
In fact, Khan has reinforced during a recent interview with Ariel Helwani that he used to be friends with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, but that changed when he became a competitor.
I thought we were friends actually. I think we used to be friends. I was not a competitor at all. I was in football. [Now?] I haven’t seen them in a long time, but I wish them the best.
