This weekend’s Women’s Super League action is set to be the most attended in the history of the division with an estimated 80,000 fans attending matches.

The FA has once again cherry-picked top fixtures to be scheduled this weekend to coincide with the men’s international break, when more eyeballs will no doubt fall on the women’s game.

The highlight this weekend is expected to be the North London derby at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday. As of Friday afternoon, more than 51,000 tickets had been sold for the derby — smashing the previous WSL record attendance of 38,262, set in November 2019 when the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium hosted the North London derby.
