"Someone Needs To Raise Their Hand": Harbhajan Singh's Brutal Verdict On RCB

Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh voiced his concerns regarding Royal Challengers Bengaluru's bowling unit, which conceded the highest total in the history of the Indian Premier League against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. RCB elected to put SRH to bat and a tsunami of boundaries took over the stadium as the Pat Cummins-led side broke their own record and posted the highest ever total in the IPL: 287/3. Each bowler who completed his four-over spell conceded more than 50 runs on the record-breaking night. Reece Topley picked up a wicket but conceded 68 runs. Yash Dayal gave away 51 runs, Lockie Ferguson bagged two while spilling away 52 runs and Vijaykumar Vyshak also gave away 64 runs. Throughout the tournament, RCB has lacked firepower in their bowling unit, which has played a part in their downfall. In seven matches, RCB have tried to defend their target four times and have failed to achieve it once in the ongoing season.

RCB vs SRH Game Was One Of Sixes, Not Of Batsmanship: Aaron Finch

Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bengaluru unleashing a barrage of sixes in their IPL match left little room for batsmanship and what mattered was who hit the most number of sixes, said Australia's T20 World Cup-winning skipper Aaron Finch. Travis Head's maiden T20 ton and Heinrich Klaasen's pillaging 67 drove SRH to a record-breaking 287 for three, which helped them go past their own 277/3 against Mumbai Indians at Hyderabad this March 27.

Cost Of Hat-trick Of Sixes? MS Dhoni's Video After MI vs CSK Match Worries Fans

MS Dhoni left both fans and experts completely spellbound as the Chennai Super Kings batter slammed Hardik Pandya for three back-to-back sixes during the IPL 2024 match against Mumbai Indians on Sunday. The Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai was witness to a trademark Dhoni knock that saw the veteran wicket-keeper batter score 20 runs in just 4 balls at an astonishing strike rate of 500. At 42 years old, Dhoni has vastly limited himself to a finisher's role for his franchise and his knock was instrumental in taking the total beyond the 200-run mark. However, it looked like the knock came at some cost as Dhoni was seen limping with padding around his knee in a video posted on social media.

Court Extends Police Custody Of Hardik Pandya's Step Brother In Cheating Case

A court on Tuesday extended till April 19 the police custody of cricketer siblings Hardik and Krunal Pandya's stepbrother Vaibhav, who is accused of cheating them of Rs 4 crore through a joint business venture. The accused, Vaibhav Pandya, was produced before a magistrate court after his previous remand expired. Mumbai Police's Economic Offences Wing (EOW) requested the court to extend Vaibhav's custody for further investigation. As Vaibhav's lawyer Niranjan Mundargi didn't oppose the EOW plea, the court extended his custody till Friday. Vaibhav, 37, was arrested on April 8 on the charges of criminal breach of trust, criminal intimidation, criminal conspiracy, forgery and other relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code for allegedly cheating the cricketer brothers to the tune of more than Rs 4 crore.

"Champions Trophy Not A Real Trophy": England Great On MS Dhoni's Last ICC Title

It was in 2013 that the Indian cricket team had last won an ICC title - the Champions Trophy - and has since gone empty-handed at the grand stage in international cricket. The likes of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have tried to lead the team to ICC titles but it remains MS Dhoni who holds the honour of helping India lift their last trophy on the grand stage. But, according to former England captain Michael Vaughan, the ICC Champions Trophy isn't even a 'real trophy'.

"Naam Bade Darshan Chote": Sunil Gavaskar's No Holds Barred Take On Off Colour RCB Star

Royal Challengers Bengaluru's season of horror continued on Monday as they slumped to their fifth straight loss in the IPL 2024. This time it happened against SunRisers Hyderabad after conceding a record 287/3 - the most in T20 franchise cricket history. With the loss, RCB's road to playoffs has become tougher. For the game, RCB dropped two big stars - Mohammed Siraj and Glenn Maxwell. The latter, despite having the reputation of being a big-hitter, has not been able to fire in the IPL 2024.
