Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid Live Streaming, La Liga Live Telecast: When And Where To Watch

The Madrid Derby is one of the fiercest rivalries in football and Real Madrid will be travelling across the city to the Civitas Metropolitano on Monday (IST) for what Carlos Ancelotti believes is going to be a 'spectacle.' Real Madrid are undefeated in their last 50 matches across both La Liga and the Champions League combined. Their last defeat came at the same venue when they lost to Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey. The Los Blancos have pieced together a stunning 33-match unbeaten streak since then. Atletico Madrid, on the other hand, have made solid additions to their side in the likes of Julian Alvarez, Alexander Sorloth and Conor Gallagher. Ancelotti went on to suggest their rivals will be competing for the title at the end of the season.

Duleep Trophy Likely To Return To Zonal Format From Next Season

The Duleep Trophy is set to return to its traditional zonal from next year after the state units gave a thumbs down to the four-team concept introduced this season. The red-ball event featured four teams -- India A, India B, India C, India D. India A beat India C to win the competition earlier this month. Usually, six teams from as many zones -- central, east, west, north, south and north east -- take part in the tournament, providing more opportunities to the players from their respective zones. "The state units felt the format used this season did not give a fair representation to the players from their respective zones. The traditional zonal format gives players more opportunities zone wise and that is what was conveyed in the AGM today," a state unit official told PTI after the BCCI AGM in Bengaluru.

Tottenham Beat 10-Man Manchester United To Up Pressure On Erik Ten Hag

Tottenham piled more pressure on Erik ten Hag's position as Manchester United manager with a dominant 3-0 win at Old Trafford on Sunday. Spurs made a flying start when Brennan Johnson tapped in from Micky Van de Ven's storming run after three minutes. Tottenham should have added to their lead long before United were reduced to 10 men when captain Fernandes was shown a straight red card on 42 minutes. Dejan Kulusevski finally doubled the visitors advantage two minutes into the second half before Dominic Solanke rounded off the scoring. Ten Hag began the season under scrutiny after surviving an internal review at the end of last season.

Travis Head Stars As Australia Beat England To Seal ODI Series Victory

Travis Head starred with both bat and ball as world champions Australia beat England by 49 runs in a rain-marred fifth and final one-day international on Sunday to complete a 3-2 series win. England were set for a huge total when opener Ben Duckett (107) and in-form captain Harry Brook shared a third-wicket stand of 132 in 98 balls. But from 202-2 slow bowling proved England's undoing as they lost their last eight wickets for 107 runs to be dismissed for 309, with part-time spinner Head taking an ODI best 4-28. Australia made a blistering start to their chase, with openers Matthew Short (58) and Head (31) sharing a stand of 78 in slightly more than seven overs.

"I'm Enjoying Scoring Runs": Sri Lanka's Kamindu Mendis Reflects On His Fiery Form

Sri Lanka's in-form all-rounder, Kamindu Mendis, derived great pleasure from going past the 1,000-run mark in Test format and is now looking forward to their upcoming white-ball tours. Sri Lanka effortlessly completed a whitewash over the Kiwis following their massive success in Galle in the second Test by an innings and 154 runs. While spinners decimated the visitors' batting line-up, Mendis orchestrated New Zealand's downfall with the bat. He spread his magic in the first Test, lifting his bat to celebrate his century (114) in the first inning. In the second Test, the left-handed batter kept the New Zealand spinners at bay, riding high on his rollicking form.

Aston Villa Denied As Liam Delap Sparkles In Ipswich Town Draw

Aston Villa missed the chance to go second in the Premier League as Liam Delap's double rescued Ipswich in a 2-2 draw at Portman Road on Sunday. Unai Emery's side fell behind to Delap's early opener but responded to take the lead before half-time through goals from Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins. Delap, a promising 21-year-old signed from Manchester City in the close-season, hauled Ipswich back on level terms after the interval. It was a frustrating result for Villa, who had travelled to Suffolk hoping to move level on points with leaders Liverpool. Instead, Villa sit in fifth place, two points behind the Reds after their run of five successive wins in all competitions came to an end.
