El número 1 del ranking del welter había sido mejor y solo esa mano le hizo temer por su victoria. Fue mejor y justo vencedor. Poco tardó en poner dirección a su próximo objetivo: "He limpiado la basura de Miami, voy por la de Louisiana. Voy a por ti, Dustin Poirier", espetó.
