Following his side's 119-run win over West Indies in the third and final ODI, Indian skipper Shikhar Dhawan said that the young players performed maturely. Top bowling spells from spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and pacers Mohammed Siraj and Shardul Thakur helped India crush West Indies by 119 runs in the rain-hit third and final ODI of the series here at Queen's Park Oval on Thursday.
All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was ruled out with an injury for the first two ODIs against West Indies, but also was not included in the third ODI at Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain. The Board of Control for Cricket in India revealed that he was left out as he was "not 100 per cent fit" and added that he will continue to be monitored by the medical team. "Ravindra Jadeja was not available for selection for the 3rd ODI since he is still not 100 percent fit. The medical team will continue to monitor his progress," the BCCI said in an official update.
Having already sealed the series, India will be facing West Indies in the third and final ODI at the Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad. The guests won both the first two games by narrow margins. While the first one saw them clinching a three-run win on the last ball of the match, the second game saw them winning by two wickets with as many balls to spare. In the second ODI, India had dropped Prasidh Krishna but his replacement Avesh Khan, who made his ODI debut, also went wicketless and leaked runs at a higher economy.

In the final over, India needed 8 runs to win with Axar and Mohammed Siraj at the crease, and Kyle Mayers had the ball in his hand. On the fourth ball of the over, Axar hit a six, winning the match for India.
