Commonwealth Games, Day 2, Live Updates: Weightlifter Sanket Sargar brought home India's first medal at the ongoing Commonwealth Games, as he returned with a silver in the 55kg men's final on Saturday. Sanket Sargar lifted 135 kg in his first attempt of clean and jerk before missing a weight of 139 kg in his second and third attempts in the final. Notably, he had lifted a highest weight of 113 kg in snatch in his third attempt and was leading the race in the men's 55 kg weightlifting final until Mohamad Aniq bin Kasdan surpassed him by a narrow margin to win gold.
