Sportswear brand Adidas took to social media to provide a sneak peek into the official jersey and the video featured Indian cricket team skipper Rohit Sharma along with his teammates - Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja. There were rumours about a possible leak in connection to the jersey design but the fans on social media were thrilled by the launch and most of them expressed their anticipation for the tournament.

This was just the second time that Dhoni was dismissed in this year's competition and both dismissals came against Punjab Kings in the past two matches. During the 19th over of the CSK innings, Harshal Patel came up with a brilliant slower off-cutter that dipped on Dhoni and left the veteran cricketer completely foxed. The ball went on to disturb Dhoni's stumps as fans watched in horror. The video of the dismissal has already gone viral on social media and many fans were left completely stunned at Dhoni getting dismissed on the very first ball.

Dinesh Karthik and Swapnil Singh came to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB)'s rescue in their IPL 2024 clash against Gujarat Titans on Saturday. Chasing a below-par 148 after GT were bowled out for 147, RCB were cruising at 92/0 in 5.5 overs with Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli putting on a show in the Powerplay. However, RCB suffered a mid-innings slump, losing six wickets in the space of 25 runs with Joshua Little and Noor Ahmad sharing five between them.
