The man who doesn't mind running out batters at the non-striker, Ravichandran Ashwin, looked to catch Australia batter Steve Smith off-guard on Day 3 of the second Test in New Delhi. Ashwin, bowling to Marnus Labuchagne, didn't release the ball during the 15th over of the second innings, leaving the non-striker Smith rattled. While no attempt to run out Smith was made, the entire incident drew an amusing reaction from the Australian batter. Even Virat Kohli, standing in the slip cordon, had a big laugh seeing what happened at the non-striker's end.
Virat Kohli looked very assured at the crease on Day 2 of the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. That was until Kohli (44 off 84 balls) was given LBW off Matthew Kuhnemann in a decision that raised eyebrows. Even Kohli was not happy and was seen fuming in the dressing room. Kohli's wicket fell when India were in a tricky spot in the first innings against Australia. Later, Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel stitched a 100-plus stand to revive India's chances. After the dismissal, Kohli could be seen indulging in an intense discussion with coach Rahul Dravid when a man arrived with food. Kohli looked really happy after that.

Medium pacer Renuka Singh registered her best bowling figures, a five-for, to help India restrict England to 151 for seven in an ICC Women's T20 World Cup match in Gqeberha, South Africa on Saturday. Renuka (5/15) did the early damage picking up the first three wickets to peg England back and then returned to take two more wickets towards the fag end of the innings. India made a perfect start after opting to bowl as Renuka induced a faint outside edge from Danni Wyatt and Richa Ghosh gleefully accepted the chance in the third delivery of the day.
An air-borne Richa plucked a spectacular catch to give India the early edge against England in their third legue match of the tournament. The incident took place in the very first over of the match when Renuka Singh bowled a back of length delivery outside off. An uncertain Danielle was forced to edge the ball as it flew to the keeper. Richa then dived to her left and grabbed the ball mid-air to complete a sensational catch. Courtesy a superb effort from Richa, Danielle departed for a golden duck.
