Returning to the home stadium of the team with which he won the Indian Premier League (IPL) title, David Warner was in a mesmerising mood. Upon spotting his old Sunrisers Hyderabad teammate Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Warner rushed to the pacer and touched his feet before the two hugged each other. Delhi Capitals pacer Ishant Sharma was also spotted in the video, and he couldn't control his laughter seeing Warner's act. The video of the incident was shared on social media by IPL and it has won the hearts of many fans.

He backed his decision by explaining that he recently won a cricket trophy. It is worth noting that Afridi bagged the Legends League Cricket trophy. He also went on to say that had it not been for Anushka, the Indian batting great would have turned into an 'egoistic maniac'. "When you go back from a space like this. It's easy immediately to go like 'ah, everything is so good and it's okay'. That's why I say Anushka's name first because she has seen the challenges of being in this position. She knows it. She has been there for so many years. She knows what it takes to handle public pressure. So, her conversations with me has always been priceless. The crowd at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium was witness to Royal Challengers Bangalore's brilliant victory over Rajasthan Royals by seven runs on Sunday.
