Firefighters are currently attending a large fire that has broken out on the hills near Abertridwr.
South Wales Police have closed the M4 both eastbound and westbound between junctions 34 (A4119) and 35 (A473) following a serious collision near Bridgend and it is expected to remain closed for some time. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes, with delays expected in that region.
