A video of Pat Cummins went viral recently as he tried his hand at fixing the pitch at the National Stadium in Karachi during the second Test match between Pakistan and Australia. Now the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have posted a video of David Warner trying his hand with the hammer on Day 5. With Pakistan at 380 for four in their second innings, Warner could be seen hammering the footmarks. Taking to Twitter, the PCB also captioned the video as, "The Thor hammer made another cameo today."
Australia are currently squaring off against Pakistan in the ongoing second Test. On Day 4 Australia captain Pat Cummins garnered the spotlight as he tried his hand at fixing the Karachi pitch. The incident happened in the 53rd over of the innings when Cameron Green had the ball in hand. Cummins stepped up to fix the uneven part of the bowler's landing area on the pitch with a hammer in hand and the ground staff were left in awe, looking how naturally the task came to the Australia Test skipper. Cummins pounded the turf with the hammer as he tried to make the landing area for Green a little more comfortable.
Former India captain Virat Kohli was seen imitating pacer Jasprit Bumrah during the ongoing second Test against Sri Lanka at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Kohli, who could only manage scores of 23 and 13 runs in India's first and second innings, respectively, was seen having some fun on the field as he tried to imitate the bowling action of Jasprit Bumrah. The incident happened before the start of Sri Lanka's first innings on Day 1. Bumrah went on to pick a fifer in Sri Lanka's first innings.
