There were long delays forming on the M4 around Newport after a rush hour crash. The westbound carriageway was partially blocked due to an accident between Junction 27 and Junction 28.

A car has hit two pedestrians in Caerphilly town centre leading to a heavy emergency services presence. Gwent Police and paramedics attended the scene at the junction of Market Street and North View Terrace in Caerphilly at around 3pm on Tuesday to reports a motorist had collided with pedestrians in the street.

A 40-year-old man has been rushed to hospital following a traffic collision in Trafford on Monday afternoon. The man had been waiting in the vehicle for his colleague to return when it began to roll down a slight hill it was parked on.
