Eurosport tennis expert Alex Corretja took to the practice court at the 2022 US Open to investigate complaints about the balls being used. Male and female players are using different balls at the tournament and this has drawn the ire of a number of notable players on the women’s tour, including Iga Swiatek and Paula Badosa. Ad «We make more mistakes [with these balls], for sure,” Swiatek told the press after her 6-4 7-5 win over Sloane Stephens at the Cincinnati Masters recently.
Serena Williams said she is "staying vague" over her expected retirement from tennis after reaching the US Open second round on Monday.
