LONDON : Highlights of the first day at the Wimbledon tennis championships on Monday (times GMT):
In the first full week of July, Manchester United will return to pre-season ahead of a huge season under Ruben Amorim and before the Premier League campaign kicks-off, plenty needs doing.
Everyone in the Premier League is aware that Manchester United are in desperate need of at least one striker this summer before the new campaign begins.
Pre-season has started across Scotland - and that means the transfer window is in full swing.
KEITH JACKSON: They're going to have to be patient this summer. Rangers are miles behind the eight ball, largely because the American takeover took longer to complete than expected. At the risk of sounding boring, it may get worse before it gets better for the long suffering Ibrox support. It certainly won't get sorted in one transfer window.
Manchester United will return to pre-season training at the beginning of July as Ruben Amorim looks to banish the ill memories of last season. Matheus Cunha was the first name through the door as part of the rebuild at Old Trafford and United are pushing for more with Bryan Mbeumo the next player on the agenda.
MIAMI :Harry Kane scored twice as Bayern Munich tamed Flamengo 4-2 in a tense affair at the Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday to set up a much-anticipated all-European quarter-final against Paris St Germain at the Club World Cup.
Ruben Amorim will be keen to welcome a few more new faces to Old Trafford this summer. Manchester United appear to be closing in on their second marquee signing of the transfer window - with Bryan Mbeumo tipped to follow the arrival of Matheus Cunha.
