A Manchester restaurant and bar is to trial a "new dating concept" with the help of a First Dates star this January. Manchester's Slug & Lettuce on Albert Square is to host the new event in a bid to help singletons find love at the start of 2025.

In September, India had also won its first-ever gold medals in Open and Women's categories in the Chess Olympiad in Budapest.
