The Indian spin duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Axar Patel bowled beautifully to help the hosts register a 48-run win over South Africa in the third T20I and stay alive in the five-match series. "The execution was spot-on from the bowlers and the batters. We were 15 runs short, but we weren't thinking about that. Bowlers did a fantastic job for us," Pant said at the post-match presentation.

The Indian cricket team had a forgettable outing in the second T20I against South Africa in Cuttack on Sunday. After the hosts' batters had put up 148/6 in 20 overs, the bowlers could not produce something magical as the Proteas reached the target in 18.2 overs. Only Bhuvneshwar Kumar played really well taking 4/13 in four overs but most of the other Indian bowlers were costly. Star India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was the costliest as he returned with figures of 4-0-49-1.

Pakistan steamrolled the West Indies by 120 runs in the second ODI to clinch the three-match series with one game still left. Pakistan's batting stars Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq once again stood out with the bat as their half-centuries helped Pakistan post a total of 275 for eight in 50 overs. But the real difference-maker in the match was all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz, his left-arm spin creating havoc for the West Indian batters.
