IND vs WI Third ODI Live Score Updates: India are off to a bright start against West Indies after electing to bat in the third and final ODI. The visitors make one change as Prasidh Krishna replaces Avesh Khan. Having already taken an un assailable 2-0 in the three-match series, India will be facing West Indies in the third and final ODI at the Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad. A ruthless Indian team is unlikely to take its foot off the pedal as it aims to top up a world-record-winning feat with another clean sweep against the West Indies on Wednesday. India created a world record on Sunday by sealing their 12th consecutive series win in the ODI format against the West Indies -- the most against a team. In this backdrop, head coach Rahul Dravid might be tempted to try out some of his reserve players but he will have to maintain a fine balance between keeping the momentum and testing his bench strength. Ricky Ponting feels that Pakistan can't win the ICC Men's T20 World Cup later this year if their captain Babar Azam doesn't have a great tournament with the bat. Pakistan's Waqar Younis recently said his former team had an excellent chance of claiming a second T20 World Cup title in Australia, but Ponting isn't so sure.
West Indies in the second ODI, India batter Shreyas Iyer said that he is hopeful of scoring a century in the next game. Chasing a mammoth 312 to win, half-centuries from Shreyas Iyer, Sanju Samson and Axar Patel helped India win the second ODI of the three-match series against West Indies by two wickets at the Queens Park Oval stadium in Port of Spain on Sunday. Shreyas scored 63 runs off 71 balls before he got out LBW to Alzarri Joseph. "I was really happy with the score I got today, but really unhappy with the way I was dismissed. I thought I could have taken the team through easily but very unfortunate with the wicket. Hopefully, I score a century in the next game," said Shreyas in a post-match press conference. India have now taken a winning 2-0 lead in the series. Struggling at 79/3, a 99-run stand between Shreyas and Samson (54) provided stability to the visitors' innings.
