Kolkata Knight Riders spinner Sunil Narine wants to finish his IPL career in 'KKR colours', plays record 150th game for the franchise

Sunil Narine, who has completed ten years with the Kolkata Knight Riders and is playing his record 150th game for the franchise against Rajasthan Royals on Monday, said that he wants to finish his IPL career at KKR. The 33-year-old, who became the most capped player for KKR overall, was signed by the Kolkata franchise in the 2012 edition of the league. After completing 10 years with Kolkata, the spinner expressed his desire to finish his Indian Premier League career in KKR colours. "Yeah I have always told Venky Mysore, CEO, that hopefully, I don't play for any other franchise, I have loved my stay at KKR. So, hopefully, I start and finish here. I think it's a great achievement. You don't see many overseas players stay with one franchise. Luckily, I am one of them and hopefully, I can continue to be with them in the future," Sunil Narine was quoted as saying by KKR's official website.

IPL 2022, KKR Predicted XI vs RR: Kolkata Knight Riders Face Conundrum In Pace Department

Kolkata Knight Riders will be looking to brush off their poor run of form and get back to winning ways when they take on Rajasthan Royals in Match 30 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season. After a decent start to the season, the slumped to consecutive defeats against Delhi Capitals and SunRisers Hyderabad and have slipped to 6th in the IPL 2022 points table. Their biggest concern will be their pace attack, with the young Rasikh Salam ruled out of the season with injury. Shivam Mavi has been expensive and was dropped for Salam, and they tried all-rounder Aman Hakim Khan against SRH, but he bowled just one over and was sent to bat at No.9. It will be interesting to see if they persist with him, or turn back to Mavi, who has more experience at this level.

Paris-Roubaix 2022: Rider ratings – Mathieu Van der Poel the man to beat, Stefan Kung the dark horse

With the 119th edition of Paris-Roubaix reverting to its spring-time slot in the calendar and warm, dusty conditions forecast in northern France, we run through the main contenders for the third Monument of the season, the co-called Hell of the North. In the absence of defending champion Sonny Colbrelli and the 2018 winner Peter Sagan, it’s highly likely that we see a new man on top of the podium on Sunday – unless veterans Philippe Gilbert, John Degenkolb, Greg van Avermaet and Niki Terpstra pull an unlikely result from the bag.

IPL 2022, KKR vs SRH: Kolkata Knight Riders lose to Sunrisers Hyderabad to crash to another loss

Ex-Knight Tripathi leads Sunrisers Hyderabad to comfortable winFormer Knights are coming hard at Kolkata Knight Riders this season. After Delhi Capitals' Kuldeep Yadav wrecked them in the last match picking up four wickets, it was Rahul Tripathi who laid the foundation for Sunrisers Hyderabad's seven-wicket victory against KKR at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Friday. AS IT HAPPENED | SCORECARD | POINTS TABLEThe KKR top order looked all at sea in trying to negotiate the SRH pacers after being asked to bat first by skipper Kane Williamson on a greenish wicket that offered both bounce and movement. However, some judicious batting by Nitin Rana (54 off 36) and big hits from Andre Russell (49 off 25) towards the end saw KKR put up a fighting 175 for eight. Their bowlers made the right start picking up both the in-form SRH openers - Williamson and Abhishek Sharma - inside the Powerplay. But Tripathi stepped in and started playing his shots all over the park. The Maharashtra batter collected 18 runs, including two consecutive sixes off Varun Chakravarthy's first over. It was a night to forget for Chakravarthy, who ended up giving away 45 runs in his three overs.
