The Pakistan Cricket Board on Monday announced the match schedule of New Zealand men's cricket team's dual tours of Pakistan. The BlackCaps will play two Tests as part of their ICC World Test Championship title defence and three ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League fixtures from December 27 to January 15, before returning for five T20Is and five ODIs from April 13 to May 7.

While Babar shone in the second innings of the game for Pakistan, it was the side's ace pacer Haris Rauf, who hogged the limelight in the first innings with figures of 3 or 28 in 4 overs.
Captain Babar Azam's half-century inspired Pakistan to their second win in the Twenty20 international tri-series in Christchurch on Saturday, coasting past New Zealand by six wickets. Former Pakistan captain Salman Butt feels star pacer Shaheen Afridi should not play the upcoming T20 World Cup if he is not a 100 per cent fit to take part in the mega event in Australia. Shaheen, who is out of the action due to a knee injury, is currently in London for his rehabilitation. It is not known as to whether Shaheen will take part at the showpiece event in Australia. However, Butt suggested that the World Cups will come and go, but it's important to preserve Shaheen, in order to prolong his career.
