Former Pakistan pacer Sikandar Bakht has lashed out at captain Mohammad Rizwan and other top cricketers for refusing to playing the National T20 Championship. This comes after Rizwan opted to play club cricket rather than participate in the National T20 Cup. Bakht feels the players are employees of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and they should participate in every competition organised by the board. The cricketer-turned-commentator added that the players are not being paid Rs 60 lakh per month to play club cricket.

A video of Hogg filming a mock interview with someone pretending to be Rizwan has gone viral on social media. The person acting as Rizwan seemingly mocks his English-speaking ability in the video. Hogg's involvement in the video has come under severe criticism from fans on the internet.

One of the most bizarre dismissal in the history of cricket took place during the National T20 Cup match between Lahore Region Whites and Larkana Region on Monday in Faisalabad. Opting to bat first, Lahore posted a whopping total of 215/4 in 20 overs with Mohammad Faiq scoring 116 off 56 balls. Later, Larkana could not even put up a strong fight as they got bundled out for just 81 with Lahore winning the match by 134 runs.
