Are Rangers right to rage over Parkhead calls and is the Hampden heat now on Michael Beale? Monday Jury

KEITH JACKSON: Yes. Unfortunately, Kevin Clancy simply isn't up to the job. But when his VAR is even less competent then what chance does the guy have? The decision to chalk off the Alfredo Morelos 'goal' reflects horribly on our officials. DAVID McCARTHY: Absolutely. Morelos' goal should have stood and the first goal in these games are almost always crucial. MICHAEL GANNON : Rangers are entitled to feel hard done by. The ruled out goal was harsh but the ref’s view made it understandable. They had a decent case for a penalty but there was no sign of handball for the second. FRASER WILSON: Most weeks some club or other will contact the SFA over a refereeing decision or two. What good it does I’m not sure. The Morelos disallowed goal was harsh as both players had hands on each other. But I can’t see anything wrong with Celtic’s second goal.

Novak Djokovic says he is "motivated" to make a better than usual start to the clay-court season in Monte Carlo as he tunes up for a 23rd Grand Slam bid at the French Open. "I hope I will start well, because the last three tournaments in Monte Carlo I have not been very successful," the world number one said on Sunday.

IPL 2023: "As A Batting Unit..." - Shikhar Dhawan's Scathing Verdict On Punjab Kings After Loss vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

A disappointed Punjab Kings captain Shikhar Dhawan blamed the batting unit for failing to mold their game according to the conditions as they lost by eight wickets to Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL here on Sunday. Dhawan slammed a 66-ball 99 not out to carry the Punjab team on his shoulders as the other batters cut a sorry figure after being asked to take the first strike. "As a batting unit, we lost too many wickets back to back and couldn't put up a big total on the ground and because of that, we lost the game. 175-180 would have been a reasonable score. The wicket looked quite good but it was seaming and swinging," Dhawan said at the post-match presentation.
