Diamond League: Jessica Hull Breaks Women's 2,000m World Record

Jessica Hull showcased a fearsome form ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games as the Australian set a world record of five minutes and 19.70 seconds in the women's 2,000m at the Diamond League meeting. The previous world record of this non-Olympic event was 5:21.56 achieved by Francine Niyonsaba of Burundi in September 2021.
