Hildebrandt defeated Guzman Lopez in the final to claim the gold medal in Women's 50kg event. Hildebrandt, also a bronze medallist from the Tokyo Olympic games, recalled the confusion that she experienced during the weigh-in, saying that she initially though Vinesh had forfeited.
