Kolkata Thunderbolts will kick off their Prime Volleyball League (PVL) campaign starting from Monday next week. "I think MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, and KL Rahul would make very good volleyball players. Dhoni and Pandya can do passing and Rahul can do attack. There was a video of them playing beach volleyball in Dubai, we would feel good if we get a chance to play volleyball with them," Ashwal told ANI.

Having tasted unmatched success as captain of the Indian team, MS Dhoni is all set to try his hands in sci-fi graphic novels with 'Atharva'. The former India skipper took to Facebook on Wednesday and shared the video of the graphic novel. The veteran wicketkeeper-batter has himself played the role of lead character in the sci-fi graphic novel 'Atharva', where he could be seen fighting devils in his animated avatar. "Happy to announce my new Avatar.....Atharva," Dhoni captioned the video.

India are unbeaten in the tournament and look in good shape to make it to the summit clash for the fourth consecutive time in this tournament. India has reached the final of the U-19 World Cup 6 times in the last 8 years and it won't be wrong to term this team as favourites for this match, but Australia U-19 are also in tremendous form.

Dinesh Karthik Recalls What MS Dhoni "Clearly" Said About Split Captaincy In India

With less than a week to go for the India vs West Indies ODI series which will also mark the beginning of Rohit Sharma's journey as a full-time captain in limited-overs cricket, there is still no clarity on who will take over India's Test mantle after Virat Kohli decided to step down as skipper last month. Sharing his thoughts on the subject, veteran wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik said he can't comment on the reasons behind Kohli's unexpected decision to quit as Test captain but he recalled MS Dhoni “clearly saying” it is “hard” to have split captaincy in Indian cricket. "I remember MS Dhoni saying very clearly that India as a cricketing nation is very hard to have split captaincy,” Karthik told news agency ANI.
