It has already been another eventful day for Nick Kyrgios at the Australian Open. The home favourite gave a gift to a kid in the crowd he accidentally hit with a wild shot. After he lost his second-round singles match against Daniil Medvedev, Kyrgios has been having a raucous and entertaining doubles campaign alongside his good friend and compatriot, Thanasi Kokkinakis.

Jimmy White’s participation in the Snooker Shoot Out lasted 10 minutes as he was comprehensively outplayed by Sanderson Lam. The Whirlwind was given brilliant support by the crowd at the Morningside Arena, but he could not rise to the occasion. It went badly from the first shot, as White hit the blue full in the face off his break, and Lam cashed in with a break of 38.
Nick Kyrgios has already delivered one of the best shots of the tournament – and he may now have just served up the best one liner too.
