IPL 2022, MI Predicted XI vs CSK: Skipper Rohit Sharma Expected To Make Multiple Changes

Rohit Sharma's journey in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 has been a tough one so far as Mumbai Indians (MI) are still win-less after six games and occupy the bottom place on the IPL points table. However, in order to turn the tide in his favour, Rohit could make a couple of changes to the playing XI and try new combinations. Tymal Mills could make way for Riley Meredith and Tim David could also make it to the final XI for their match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai on April 21. Indian batter Robin Uthappa is in line to break a clutch of records as his team, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), gear up to take on a struggling Mumbai Indians (MI) side on Thursday at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai. Right-hand opener Uthappa, if selected in the playing XI, will be playing in his 200th IPL match. So far, he has played 199 matches and scored 4919 runs at an average of 28.10. He will follow in the footsteps of MS Dhoni, Dinesh Karthik, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja and Suresh Raina to become the seventh player to reach the landmark of 200 IPL matches.

Since his performance in the 2020 U-19 Cricket World Cup, Kartik Tyagi has seen his career rise in prominence. In the mega auction this year, he was picked by SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) for Rs 4 crore and recently credited Suresh Raina for backing his talent.

Delhi Capitals shrugged off a Covid outbreak in their camp as they defeated Punjab Kings by 9 wickets in Match 32 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. It was an all-round performance from DC, led by the bowlers, who did half of the job by restricting PBKS to a total of 115 after skipper Rishabh Pant elected to bowl first.
