Virat Kohli has been missing from action on the cricket field for almost a month now, and their were speculations over it. The former Indian cricket team captain ended the speculation with a post on social media.

There was some good news for Indian cricket team fans as wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant played his first full game since his car accident back in 2022. Pant was on a journey to recovery and on Tuesday, he played in a warm-up game in Alur near Bengaluru since his near-fatal accident. It was a huge improvement for the cricketer who is expected to lead Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. However, according to a report by Cricbuzz, Pant will be playing as a specialist batter and will not be keeping wickets as the complete rehabilitation might not be completed in time.

Ahead of the India vs England fourth Test, starting in Ranchi on Friday, Jasprit Bumrah has been released from the squad, the BCCI said in a media release late on Tueday. "The decision was taken keeping in mind the duration of the series and amount of cricket he has played in recent times," the BCCI statement added. Meanwhile, KL Rahul is ruled out of the fourth Test. "His participation in the final Test match in Dharamsala is subject to fitness," the BCCI said.

Currently, the hosts lead the five-match series 2-1 with still two matches to go in the series. The fourth Test will commence on February 23 at JSCA International Stadium Complex followed by the fifth and final Test of the series to be played at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala. Jurel posted a picture on his social media account, X with the caption: "Let's go". In the picture, the cricketer was seen sitting in the airplane along with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rajat Patidar.
