India will meet Australia at the Oval from June 7-11 for their second consecutive appearance in a World Test Championship final. An office bearer of the all-powerful BCCI will now be paid a daily allowance of USD 1000 on foreign tours and will fly first-class. The increase in allowances doled out to the BCCI office bearers was tabled in the Apex Council meeting on Sunday but came into effect last October. The per diem (daily allowance) has been revised after more than seven years. Earlier, the officer bearers of the world's richest board used to get USD 750 per day on overseas tours.

Domestic Cricket Season: Dates For Duleep Trophy And Ranji Trophy Announced

Indian cricket's 2023-24 domestic season will kick-start with the Duleep Trophy tournament starting on June 28 while the flagship Ranji Trophy set to commence from January 5, next year. The Duleep Trophy, which will be played among six zonal teams, will be followed by Deodhar Trophy (List A) (July 24 to August 3), Irani Cup (October 1-5), Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy men's T20 national championships (October 16-November 6) and Vijay Hazare Trophy (November 23-December 15).

The video shows Salman Khan and South star Venkatesh Daggubati twinning in bright yellow shirts, mundu and sunglasses. However, Sivaramakrishnan, who has played nine Tests and 16 ODis, blasted the song due to the inappropriate use of mundu (dhoti), saying that it is "highly ridiculous" and "degrading" the South Indian culture.
