After the Test series gets over, India and Australia will be playing a three-match ODI series, beginning March 17.
"He will return to India later this week to re-join preparations for the third Test in Indore," the team said in a statement.India are currently leading the four-match series 2-0. India, who have retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, had crushed Australia by an innings and 132 runs in the opening Test and went on to win the second Test, in Delhi, by 6 wickets.
