The first surprise came in the form of Charlotte Flair, who not only made her in-ring competition return but also clinched the women's Royal Rumble 2025 title. However, the biggest headline of the day was made by Jey Uso, who brilliantly outclassed 29 other wrestlers to win the men's Royal Rumble title. The moment which grabbed everyone's attention was the heartbreaking defeat of the veteran WWE star John Cena, who played his made final Royal Rumble appearance.
WWE Royal Rumble 2025 Highlights: Main Event Jey Uso will headline WrestleMania 41 after he won the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble match at the Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis on Sunday. Jey, who entered the match at no. 24, outclassed 29 other superstars, including runner-up John Cena, to earn a shot at the world title. He will now pick a champion of his choice whom he will face in the main event of Wrestlemania. Earlier, after making her return to in-ring competition, Charlotte Flair managed to outlast 29 other wrestlers to win the 2025 Women's Royal Rumble match. Flair made the final elimination, launching a big boot on NXT rookie Roxanne Perez, who had eliminated Nia Jax moments earlier. DIY (Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano) defeated the Motorcity Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships. DIY needed some help from the Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) to get the final fall on MCMG. Cody Rhodes defeated Kevin Owens in a ladder match to retain the Undiesputed WWE Championship.

Hina Munawar, a police officer with a strong background in security and operations, has been named as the first female team manager for the Pakistan men's cricket team ahead of the Champions Trophy. Munawar, who has served in the Frontier Constabulary in the high-risk Swat area, has been appointed as the Operations Manager for Pakistan's Tri-Nation series and the Champions Trophy which begins on February 19 in Karachi. While senior retired bureaucrat Naveed Akram Cheema will continue as team manager, Munawar's appointment has sparked curiosity among cricket fans, experts, and media.
