Collin Morikawa reflects on his double chip-in at 2022 Genesis Invitational
At last year’s Genesis Invitational, Collin Morikawa led the best of the rest as the field tried to catch eventual winner, Joaquin Niemann, who went wire-to-wire to pick up his second PGA Tour victory at The Riviera Country Club. However, it was Morikawa’s short game magic on Sunday that provided the final round fireworks and ahead of this year’s event he has spoken exclusively to Eurosport about his short game brilliance. Ad Morikawa shot an impressive six-under-par 65 in the final round but a bogey on the par-4 3rd was far from ideal as he was eight shots back of Neimann, who has since defected to LIV Golf.
