Open Enhances Purse To USD 17 Million

The winner of the 152nd Open at Royal Troon will receive USD 3.1 million in prize money. The Champion Golfer of the Year will pocket the highest amount in The Open's history as it returns to the renowned Ayrshire links for the tenth time. The R&A announced an increase of half a million dollars in the prize purse for the 2024 Open to be played from July 18 to 21. The prize purse will now be USD 17 million, a USD 500,000 increase from 2023.
