Phil Mickelson, Bryson DeChambeau and a group of players who defected to Saudi-funded LIV Golf filed an antitrust lawsuit Wednesday against the PGA Tour, the first step in a legal fight that could define the rules of where players can compete.
WASHINGTON : Hall of Fame golfer Phil Mickelson and 10 other players filed a lawsuit against the PGA Tour on Wednesday, alleging that it broke antitrust law by refusing to let them participate on the tour and the new rival LIV Golf circuit, backed by Saudi Arabia.
Phil Mickelson and Ian Poulter are among 11 LIV Golf players who have filed an antitrust lawsuit against the PGA Tour to challenge their suspensions.

Bryson DeChambeau says he «personally knows» that the PGA Tour's indefinite ban on LIV golfers playing in their events will be resolved soon.
