The day will begin with four Indian athletes in various final races in sailing - Jerome Kumar S, Vishnu Saravan, Nethra Kumanan and Chitresh Tatha. The quartet of Hriday Chheda, Anush Agarwalla, Sudipti Hajela and Divyakriit Singh will also take part in Dressage - Intermediate (individual) after they clinched the gold medal in the team event. There will be medal hopes in Wushu as well with Roshibina Devi Naorem and Rohit Jadhav in action.

Olympian Maana Patel finished fifth in heat 3 and 13th overall with a timing of 1:03.55s but failed to qualify for the final of women's 100m backstroke. HANGZHOU: Jonathan Tan was left ruing a poor start as he missed out on a podium place in the men’s 50m freestyle on Monday (Sep 25), after finishing fourth with a time of 22.11s.
The Indian men's 4x100m medley relay team swam a sensational heat, obliterating the national record to enter the final of the Asian Games at the Hangzhou Aquatic Sports Arena on Tuesday. The quartet of Srihari Nataraj, Likhith Selvaraj, Sajan Prakash and Tanish George Mathew clocked 3:40.84 to finish behind Japan in heat 1. They bettered the national record of 3:44.94 set by Nataraj, Sandeep Sejwal, Prakash, Aaron D'Souza in the last edition of the Games in Jakarta.
