Pero no está claro que el reglamento permita esa clase de pruebas con un coche que no tiene ni un mes de antigüedad y, a la espera de una aclaración por parte de la FIA, han iniciado las tandas con el SF71H de la temporada 2018, que tiene más de dos años y encaja con las normas de test de coches antiguos que destaca el reglamento deportivo de la Fórmula 1.
