Berthon focused on the positives but wanted more from WTCR opener

Nathanaël Berthon has spoken of his huge disappointment after his bid for a Race 1 podium turned to despair on the streets of Pau last weekend. Comtoyou DHL Team Audi Sport driver Berthon was in hot pursuit of third-placed Yvan Muller only for a tyre issue to trigger a sequence of events that led to him being spun down the order and pitting. Bjork credits Cyan mechanics for WTCR points

Thed Björk thanked his mechanics for doing a “fantastic job” to ensure he didn’t leave WTCR Clean Fuels for All Race of France unrewarded. Björk badly damaged his Lynk & Co 03 TCR in a Qualifying crash on Saturday but extensive repairs by his Cyan Performance Lynk & Co crew ensured he started both races at Circuit de Pau-Ville the following day.
