Ma Qing Hua will start the partially reversed-grid Race 2 at WTCR Race of Spain on pole position at MotorLand Aragón. The Cyan Performance Lynk & Co driver was P10 in the Q2 session in qualifying, meaning his Lynk & Co 03 TCR will start from the front in Sunday’s second encounter.

Yann Erhlacher’s late effort lifted him to the top of the times in the second free practice session at WTCR Race of Spain as the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup field made their final preparations for qualifying at MotorLand Aragón. The King of WTCR put in a great lap right at the end of the 30-minute session, managing a time of 2m05.579s to head another late improver, Norbert Michelisz, by 0.286s.
Rob Huff kicked off WTCR Race of Spain by topping the times in the first free practice session at a hot MotorLand Aragón. The Zengő Motorsport driver set his best time late in the 45-minute session to lift his Cupra Leon Competición to the top, with a lap of 2m06.359s.
WTCR Race of Spain gets serious today with the first track action taking place from 09h00 CET with Free Practice 1. That’s followed by Free Practice 2 from 13h00 with the three-stage Qualifying – and the chase for pole position for Sunday’s opening race – due to get underway at 15h30.
