The European Union confirmed on Friday the adoption of a fifth round of sanctions against Russia over the war in Ukraine.
As the Russian invasion of Ukraine continues, with significant loss of civilian life in Ukraine, warnings are being sounded about the knock-on effects of the conflict on people far from Europe.
