India all-rounder Shivam Dube is off to a fine comeback run in T20I cricket, as with his superb all-round show during the second India-Afghanistan T20I at Indore, he joined the elite company of legends like Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli. Shivam is the seventh Indian player to take at least a wicket and score a fifty in a T20I match, but only the third player to do it on two or more occasions, with Yuvraj having done it three times and Virat having done it twice.
Indian all-rounder Axar Patel completed 200 wickets in the T20 format and joined senior all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja in an elite company. Patel reached this milestone during India's second T20I against Afghanistan in Indore on Sunday. In the match, Axar continued his good form with the ball, taking 2/17 in his quota of four overs. He took the wickets of skipper Ibrahim Zadran and Gulbadin Naib, who was looking dangerous after scoring a half-century. Now in his T20 career, Axar has 200 wickets at an average of 27.95 and an economy rate of 6.97. His best bowling figures are 4/21.
Shivam Dube was the top performer for the Indian cricket team as the Rohit Sharma-led side defeated Afghanistan by six wickets in the first T20I encounter in Mohali on Thursday. Dube slammed an unbeaten 60 off just 40 balls and even took the important wicket of Ibrahim Zadran as he conceded just nine runs in his two overs while bowling. Thanks to his all-round show, Dube became the fourth Indian cricketer ever to score 50 or more runs and take a wicket in a T20I match. Yuvraj Singh has achieved the feat thrice, Virat Kohli twice while all-rounder Hardik Pandya was the last one to do it.

These teams have not only secured impressive victories, but they have demonstrated a level of consistency and resilience that makes them dangerous adversaries as the 2023-24 season progresses.
Seamers Shivam Dube (4/10) and Royston Dias (3/35) powered Mumbai's outright win over Bihar by an innings and 51 runs in their Ranji Trophy 2023-24 season opener on Monday. Bihar's fate was decided on the third day evening itself when they were reduced to 91/6 following-on, having made 100 in their first innings in reply to Mumbai's 251, with Mohit Avasthi returning 6/27. Bihar could not manage a run more than that in their second attempt and lost heavily as Mumbai walked away with seven points. Dube, who was named in India's squad for three T20Is against Afghanistan, celebrated his call-up with a superb 11-4-10-7 after 6-3-13-2 in the first innings.
Dashing batter Rinku Singh displayed his brilliance in red-ball cricket as well, scoring a smart 92, allowing Uttar Pradesh to finish on 302 in their first innings against Kerala in their Elite Group B match of the Ranji Trophy at Alappuzha in Kerala on Saturday. Resuming the day on 244 for five, Rinku added 21 runs before falling to Nidheesh, who grabbed three wickets for Kerala, as the score read 295 for eight. In reply, Kerala began on a shaky note, losing three for 32 before Sachin Baby (38) and Vishnu Vinod (74) put on a 99-run partnership for the fourth wicket.
Jasprit Bumrah breathed fire on Thursday during the second and final Test match against South Africa at Newlands, Cape Town. Bumrah's heroic show helped him surpass Australia's spin great Shane Warne and become the visiting bowler with the second-highest number of wickets in Test matches in Cape Town.
