The office of the suspended Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) has returned to the house of former WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh at 21, Ashoka Road, Janpath after the management failed to get a new place due to the ban imposed by the Sports Ministry, a WFI official said. WFI office had moved out from Brij Bhushan's house to Hari Nagar, following accusations of sexual harassment imposed on him by India's top wrestlers including Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik in 2023.

FIFA Suspends Pakistan Football Federation

The International Football Federation (FIFA) has suspended the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) after it failed to make amendments to its constitution which the world body deemed necessary for smooth and just governance of the sport in the country. The world body said Pakistan would remain suspended until the PFF congress made those amendments. Pakistan football has been run by a FIFA appointed Normalisation Committee since June 2019 which was tasked with holding elections and cleaning up parallel groupings in the football set-up but it has failed to execute these plans properly.

BCCI Calls Special General Meeting On March 1 To Appoint New Joint Secretary

The BCCI has convened a Special General Meeting (SGM) in Mumbai on March 1 to appoint a new joint secretary after the position was left vacant following the elevation of Devjit Saikia to the post of the board's secretary. Assam Cricket Association's (ACA) Saikia had succeeded Jay Shah in the secretary's position last month, after the latter took over as the chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC) on December 1. The BCCI sent out the SGM notice to the state associations with a single-item agenda.
