World champion Ronnie O'Sullivan will head the line-up when the World Doubles competition returns to the snooker circuit in September for the first time since 1991. O'Sullivan, Judd Trump, Neil Robertson and Mark Selby – the four leading players in the world rankings – and the women's top quartet of Reanne Evans, Ng On Yee, world champion Nutcharut Wongharuthai and Rebecca Kenna will compete for the title over the weekend of 24/25 September in Milton Keynes. Ad/> Teams will be formed by a random draw at the Marshall Arena with the four pairs competing in a round-robin format to reach the World Mixed Doubles final.
Nick Kyrgios has claimed he will play the ATP Finals event with countryman Thanasi Kokkinakis after he pulled out of their doubles match at Wimbledon shortly after beating Filip Krajinovic to advance to the third round in the singles tournament. The friends teamed up to win their home Grand Slam tournament at the Australian Open back in January.

LONDON — A day after Harmony Tan's would-be partner Tamara Korpatsch publicly expressed her outrage over Tan's last-minute decision to withdraw from doubles, peace has been restored between the pair.
Tamara Korpatsch has rescinded her comments towards Harmony Tan after she dropped out of their opening doubles match at Wimbledon. Last night, Korpatsch took to Instagram to outwardly share her complaints regarding Tan, who was unable to compete in the doubles match due to an injury she had sustained in her first-round singles game against Serena Williams. Ad/> The German, however, has had a change of heart after supposedly having a conversation with Tan as per her new Instagram story.
