As the Australian team remained unbeaten in the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2022, captain Meg Lanning described her team's performance as 'positive' after defeating Bangladesh by five wickets at the Basin Reserve on Friday. Chasing 136 runs, Australia for the first time struggled in the World Cup. The World No. 1 team lost 5 wickets for just 72 runs before Beth Mooney took over and guided her team home. Lanning said that the Bangladesh team played well and put Australia under pressure.
