Umran should partner Bumrah in T20 World Cup: Harbhajan Singh

Harbhajan Singh too has been floored by the magic of Jammu's pace sensation Umran Malik, who has clocked above 150kmph on a regular basis in IPL 15 (157kmph on Thursday), and wants the youngster inducted into Team India as soon as possible. "Malik is my favourite. I want to see him in the Indian team because what a bowler he is. Tell me any one bowler who bowls more than 150 (kmph) and isn't playing for the country," Harbhajan said, while going gaga over the Sunrisers Hyderabad speed gun at a promotional event for the T20 World Cup Down Under in Australia in October-November. The retired tweaker, who took 417 Test wickets in 103 Tests, and 269 wickets in 236 ODIs, wants Malik, who's taken 15 wickets with his lightning speed in IPL 2022, to partner pace ace Jasprit Bumrah for Team India in the T20 World Cup later this year. "So I think, it is a great, great thing and he will inspire many youngsters to take up this game, the way he has come from and what he is doing in the IPL, he's been unbelievable. I don't know whether he will be selected or not, but if I was part of the selection committee, I would have given him a go ahead (for his selection). Malik should be the partner with Jasprit Bumrah when India plays in Australia (in the T20 World Cup)," recommended Harbhajan.

Watch: Middlesex Pacer Shaheen Afridi's Unplayable Yorker You Just Can't Miss In County Championship

Pakistan international Shaheen Shah Afridi's wicket of Aaron Beard in the ongoing County Championship match against Sussex was a treat to watch. The fast bowler uprooted two stumps of Sussex batter Beard with an almost unplayable yorker, something which the bowler enjoyed to the core as he burst into his trademark celebration. The official handle of the County Championship posted the clip on Instagram that showcased how accurate the yorker was as it sent the stumps flying in the air. The caption read, "What a delivery from @ishaheenafridi10."

IPL 2022: Gujarat Titans' Alzarri Joseph Trying To Improve On His Performance With Every Game

Gujarat Titans all-rounder Alzarri Joseph said that he is improving on his performance with each and every game. Gujarat and Mumbai will be facing each other in their next IPL 2022 clash, at the Brabourne Stadium on Friday. "It is a bit different wherever you go, some pitches bounce a bit more, some are slow and some have a bit more pace in them. It is all about adjusting to different conditions.
