Virat Kohli Lets Loose, Joins In The Fun With Champagne Attack On India Teammate. Internet Goes Wild

Virat Kohli lifted the Champions Trophy 2025 as India beat New Zealand by four wickets in the final in Dubai on Sunday. This takes Kohli's ICC title count to four, having first won the 2011 World Cup, almost 14 years ago. Being 22 years old then, Kohli is no longer a spring chicken. At 36, he is not only a veteran of the squad, but also one of the most highly-regarded. However, while he did not quite recreate his 'Gangnam style' dance moves from India's 2013 Champions Trophy win, he did let himself loose during the celebrations.

Angry PCB Rejects ICC's Explanation Over Pak Officials' Snub At Champions Trophy Ceremony: Report

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to register its protest with the ICC for ignoring its CEO and Champions Trophy tournament director Sumair Ahmed Syed during the event's closing ceremony in Dubai. A source in the PCB said on Monday that chairman Mohsin Naqvi was not satisfied with the explanation given by the ICC for not having Ahmed on stage at the presentation ceremony on Sunday. "The ICC, apparently, has said it had prepared for Mohsin Naqvi to be on stage so when he didn't show up for the final, they changed their plan," the source said.

Champions Trophy 2025 Review: India's Spin Quartet, Shreyas Iyer's Consistency And Rohit Sharma's Powerplay Template

India overcame a stiff challenge from New Zealand in the final of the 2025 Champions Trophy and defeated their ICC-tournament nemesis by four wickets in a thriller at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday night. The spin quartet were the heroes for India in the evening with the wrist spinners – Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakravarthy - causing severe damage to the top order while Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel choked the flow of runs in the middle overs. Skipper Rohit Sharma led the way with his aggressive template in the powerplay while Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul maintained a cool and calm head in tense moments in the run-chase.

Rohit Sharma Clears Air On Playing 2027 World Cup After CT 2025 Triumph. Says: "It Wouldn't Be..."

Rohit Sharma gave a big statement after India's Champions Trophy 2025 triumph clearing the air on his future in ODIs. "I am not going to retire from this format. Just to make sure no rumours are spread moving forward. Koi future plan hai nahi, jo chal raha hai chalega (there is no future plan, whatever is going on will continue as it is)," Rohit Sharma said. "There is a lot of hunger even in guys who have played a lot of cricket and it rubs down on even the younger players. We have five to six players who are real stalwarts.
