MELBOURNE :Australia will host eight white-ball matches against India in August-November before beginning their bid to retain the Ashes title against England, according to Cricket Australia's latest home fixture list released on Sunday.
The Indian team will tour Australia later this year for a multi-format limited overs series comprising three ODIs and five T20 Internationals, Cricket Australia (CA) said on Sunday. The visitors will play the white-ball matches between October 19 and November 8. While the 50-over matches will be day-and-night fixtures, the T20s will be night matches. The 2025-26 season will be the first-ever to feature men's international matches in all eight Australian states and territories, with Canberra and Hobart both set to host India during the five-game T20 series.
The Indian women's cricket team will travel to Australia early next year for a gruelling all-format tour, which will culminate with a one-off Test at the WACA Ground in Perth in March. The tour, scheduled from February 15 to March 9, will see the teams play three T20Is and an equal number of One-day Internationals. The series will commence with the first T20I in Sydney on February 15, which will be followed by matches at the Manuka Oval and Adelaide Oval. The ODI series will commence on February 24 at the Allan Border Field in Brisbane, which will be followed by matches on February 27 and March 1.
Sunrisers Hyderabad have threatened to move out of Hyderabad and may not play their IPL 2025 matches at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, according to a report by Times of India. The 2016 winners alleged intimidation and blackmailing by the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) officials for free tickets. The report added that SRH general manager, Srinath TB, has written a letter to HCA treasurer CJ Srinivas Rao where he has made it clear that the franchise will tolerate such behaviour.

India wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav is indebted to West Indies stalwart Sunil Narine for instilling in him the importance of bowling length balls, which, he says, has helped him become a more potent bowler. Kuldeep and Narine were team-mates in Kolkata Knight Riders for a long time, following which the Indian made a switch to Delhi Capitals, while the West Indian all-rounder continues to be with the defending champions for more than 10 years. "As a bowler, you must aim to dominate. Players like Jasprit Bumrah and Sunil Narine have done that consistently. I learned a lot from Sunil Narine when I was with KKR. He was ahead of his time. He always emphasised the importance of bowling length," Kuldeep, who was part of India's Champions Trophy-winning squad recently, told JioHotstar.
